Delete your account
You can do this yourself, any time, without contacting anyone. It cannot be undone.
What is removed
- Your name, email, phone number, nationality and emergency contact
- Your location history and flight details
- Your notifications, notification tokens and saved places
- Your trip notes and shared trip links
- Your safety check-ins and trusted-contact links, which stop working immediately
- The contents of messages you sent
- Your two-step sign-in, any linked Google, Facebook or Apple sign-in, and every signed-in device
- For guides and drivers: your uploaded licences and documents, photographs you added to places (including the public copy), your profile text and your payout number. You also come out of search.
What is kept
- Bookings, payments, payouts and refunds, with nothing that says who you were. A guide and our payment partners are entitled to their records, and accounting rules require them. We have not yet set an automatic deletion date for them.
- Reviews and place ratings you wrote, without your name
- If a support case about a booking is still open, that booking's messages, location records and check-ins are held until it is resolved, and then deleted
- Backups, until they are overwritten, within 14 days. Deleted data is not restored from them.
If you still have a booking open (waiting for an answer, confirmed, or in progress), or a guide payout is being sent, finish or cancel it first. We will tell you if that is what is stopping this.
