Get your licence checked. Get found before travellers land.

Safiri confirms your guide or driver licence with the body that issued it, then shows travellers the proof, your calendar and your price. Free during the pilot, and travellers pay you directly.

A morning at Nairobi National Park. Travellers see this before they ask to book. How the checks work

Where travellers are heading.

A morning in the forest. A little history. A few days by the ocean. Start with somewhere that speaks to you.

What a licence check actually means

Most marketplaces show you a badge that the platform invented and awarded to itself. Ours points at a document with a number on it, issued by somebody who can take it away.

Tour guide licence

Tourism Regulatory Authority

Issued by the Tourism Regulatory Authority. Without a current one, a guide cannot take any guiding booking on Safiri at all.

PSV badge and passenger insurance

NTSA

NTSA licenses anyone carrying passengers for payment. We check the badge and the insurance behind it before a driver can accept an airport run.

Certificate of good conduct

Directorate of Criminal Investigations

From the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, and required before anyone can be booked by a traveller travelling alone.

The park fee problem

Ask what a day at Nairobi National Park costs and you will usually be quoted the guide's fee. Then you reach the gate and there is another 5,200 shillings a head, set by Kenya Wildlife Service and revised seasonally, that nobody mentioned.

Safiri lists what a guide charges, what it includes, and what it does not, on the same screen. Every guide writes their own exclusions. We are not going to pretend a park fee is our money to waive, but we are not going to let it ambush you either.

Illustrative example: a morning for one person. These are not current fee quotes.
The price you were quotedKES 5,000
Park entry, at the gate+ KES 5,200
Vehicle, if you need onefrom KES 6,800
On Safiri all three lines sit on the same screen, before you request anything. KWS sets park entry and changes it by season.
